Children's General Pediatrics

Children's General Pediatrics

Children aren't miniature adults. They need comprehensive, compassionate care in a family-focused environment like that offered by pediatric specialists at Children's of Mississippi and Batson Children's Hospital, the state's only hospital devoted to sick and injured children of all ages.

Our pediatrics program includes general pediatricians, specialty care and support services for Batson Children's Hospital and outpatient clinics, providing a continuum of care for the state's youngest residents.

The child-friendly approach to healthcare provides a setting not only to heal, but also to play, learn and grow. Pediatric specialists apply this unique philosophic approach to healthcare, whether it's helping a premature newborn, an asthmatic adolescent or a teenager continuing to struggle with a lifelong disability. Special surgical and critical care facilities at Batson are equipped with state-of-the-art and age-appropriate technology to provide young patients with the best chance for a healthy life.
